Orlando Kennedy Space Centre - Out of this world!!!
Do not leave Orlando without coming to the Kennedy Space Center. You can see some huge rockets, the Space Shuttle Explorer (great guided tours) and lots of awesome NASA equipment. An afternoon is just not long enough to see this place properly, so make sure you leave yourself enough time, or come back the next day, for free.

Nearby Busch Gardens
You can get to the Busch Gardens theme park in about an hour from Orlando, heading towards Tampa. There are some truly superb rides here, better than anything I'd seen in the UK. We had an exciting day. I think that it was almost as good as Universal Studios, and definitely cheaper all round. You could easily drive here, but we decided we'd catch a coach instead.

About the busy Universal Studio
Universal Studio is another of Orlando's top offerings and has been used for movie making for years. This is now a major theme park resort where you can experience movie sets, rides and shows. Universal now also owns a water park. Prepare yourself for the show when you purchase the tickets though - expensive or what? once in a lifetime experience is what I told myself when I handed over the money.

Everyone visiting Orlando should go to the Walt Disney World
Finding your way around Walt Disney World is an art in itself and a lot of people have different theories about the best ways to dodge the queues. One good idea for certain is to try and get here as early as you can, and try and work out what rides are going to be the busiest, usually the ones relating to the latest films. Go on them first if you can. There a day tickets and longer passes, although nothing is cheap here. Bring your own food if you want to save money.
